The Farm to School program connects kids with fresh, local foods, making healthy living a daily routine. In the classroom, they learn about agriculture, nutrition, and how food goes from the farm to their table. In the cafeteria, they enjoy meals made with fresh, locally-grown ingredients, some of which they may have grown themselves. In the community, local farmers and businesses team up with schools to supply fresh produce, boosting the local economy and supporting sustainable farming practices. This collaboration creates a win-win situation where children eat delicious and nutritious meals, and the community thrives.
