Beef in Schools Working Group

The Nebraska Beef in Schools program brings together Nebraska Cattlemen's, producers, and school food service programs to provide an enhanced connection to agriculture and beef production for all ages of students. Students see how the beef community works together to get beef from pasture to the plate from the vantage point of their local community and resources.

2021 Nebraska Farm to School Institute

The Nebraska Farm to School Institute was an opportunity to take a deep dive into best practices, develop an action plan, and access mini-grant funds to implement your farm to school project. The institute provided training and support for school-community teams to develop a farm to school program locally. Selected teams came together from across the state to participate in engaging workshops, learn best practices from national experts, and create an action plan to carry out in their respective communities.
